BMW Technology Office Israel Visits the Technion in Search of Disruption in the Automobile Field
It was a great pleasure to host the BMW Technology Office Israel at the Technion this week. The visit focused on showcasing the Technion's innovative spirit, brilliant minds, and groundbreaking research.
During the visit, the BMW team toured some of the Technion’s cutting-edge labs, including the Autonomous Navigation and Perception Lab (ANPL), led by Prof. Vadim Indelman, the Cognitive Robotics Lab (CRL), led by Prof. Erez Karpas, and the Computational Robotics Lab (CRL), led by Prof. Oren Salzman. The team also received insightful presentations from the T3 Unit (Rona Samler and Shikma Litmanovitz), the Industry Relations Unit (Rony Geven), and the Israel Institute of Materials Manufacturing Technologies (Keren Zohar Hauber and Haggai Back).
These sessions provided an in-depth look at the promising technologies and collaborations that are taking shape at the Technion.
Both sides recognized the immense potential for future collaborations that could lead to revolutionary advancements in the automotive industry.
