PROFESSIONAL GROWTH
The program allows our students to experience the world of industry up close. The students integrate into one of the companies or start-ups that submitted an application to integrate students into their company.
The purpose of the Career and Employment Counseling Unit is to strengthen the connection between academia and the labor market and to encourage joint projects with organizations and companies all over the country, as well as to provide a wide variety of employment solutions for employers seeking to locate high-quality candidates from the Technion.
Innovation Tools
BizTec
BizTec is the Technion's entrepreneurship program, founded in 2004, which supports startups from idea to proof of feasibility. The 6-month program has two stages: the first focuses on skills for developing the idea, and the second on creating a proof of concept and IP strategy, with close mentoring. Successful teams present their ventures at a Demo Day to investors. Teams can also receive prizes and grants up to 100,000 NIS. The program has a strong network of mentors and alumni who have raised over a billion dollars.
Mehoudar Center for Inventors
Mehoudar Center for inventors was founded in the Technion to serve as a leading professional platform and a unique space for experimentation.
The center provides inventors with training, promotes creativity and innovation and serves as a home for the inventors' community. The center invites individuals, companies and organizations of every discipline to connect and create groundbreaking works.
Schulich Leaders
Seymour Schulich is a Jewish-Canadian businessman and philanthropist who made his fortune in natural minerals and finance. He founded The Schulich Foundation, focusing on STEM education. The Schulich Leaders Scholarship, Israel’s top STEM scholarship, supports 55 students annually at five universities. In 2020, the Foundation partnered with the Technion to create the Schulich Leaders Program for Entrepreneurship. The Foundation also funds projects like 1,000 smart classrooms and cyber studies for youth in Israel's periphery.
